Course Description: The Notice of Meeting webinar is designed for both new and veteran special education staff who are responsible for providing a prior written notification for an IEP meeting. During this session, we will discuss the legal requirements associated with the NOM, as well as explicit instruction as to how to accurately complete this document within the WebKIDSS IEP system.
Learning Objectives:
Learner will explain the purpose/reason for the Notice of Meeting
Learner will explain the required timeline associated with the Notice of Meeting
Learner will apply knowledge learned to accurately complete a Notice of Meeting and successfully document his/her attempts to provide the notice to the legal education decision-maker(s)
