IEP Webinar - IEP Goals and Their Parts

Course Description: The IEP Goal Components webinar is designed for both new and veteran special education staff who are responsible for participating in the development of data-driven IEP goals.  During this session, we will discuss the  four components that make up an IEP goal and how to ensure that IEP goals are measurable and specific to the individual student.

Learning Objectives: 

• Learner will list and define the four components of an IEP goal

• Learner will use baseline data from the PLAAFPs section of an IEP to drive goal development

• Learner will apply knowledge learned to write measurable IEP goal(s) into IEPs of their students
